Therapy in Brighton & Hove

I’m Emily, a BACP registered therapist working in Brighton & Hove and online, offering face-to-face sessions in Fiveways and Kemptown, and online sessions throughout the UK.

Therapy can be useful for a range of reasons. Perhaps you have noticed a change or deterioration in your mental health or the way you are handling things, or maybe you are experiencing a difficult life event and would like some support.

Often, people come to therapy when they are feeling stuck in whatever they are experiencing or in their ways of thinking. This might be related to your relationships, your self-esteem, or identity, or a wide range of other issues.

How I can support you

Some areas I work with frequently include:

Building self-esteem and self-trust: I’ve worked with clients who are struggling to find confidence in themselves, helping them reconnect to what matters to them.

Recovering from abusive relationships: I’ve worked with RISE UK, supporting survivors of domestic abuse.

Making sense of difficult events: I’ve worked with clients who are experiencing difficult and upsetting life events.

Working with trauma: I’ve supported clients who are experiencing the effects of trauma, or coming to terms with traumatic experiences.
